This Dragon box has my original Pen and Ink design titled "Smaug the Terrible". I have styled it after the Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug movie version with my own artistic styling. The design around the edges feature dragon wings with Dwarven style knot work around them. I paint the box black and then apply the artwork that has been printed on a parchment style paper for a vintage look. A coat of matt sealer protects the images. The wooden box measures 5.25 x 8.25" x 3.5" and has plenty of room for your own dragon hoard!  You can an optional custom message to the inside lid of the box for a one of a kind gift.  Great for anyone that is into Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit or and other Fantasy Dragon collections.

"My armor is like tenfold shields, my teeth are swords, my claws spears, the shock of my tail is a thunderbolt, my wings a hurricane, and my breath death!" —Smaug

Smaug was one of the dragons that infested the Grey Mountains. Hearing about the wealth of the Dwarves of Erebor, Smaug first appeared in the history of Middle-earth in T.A. 2770 flying south "like a hurricane coming from the North" and attacked the wealthy Dwarven kingdom of the Lonely Mountain and its adjacent lands.
